Alumni meet of Civil Engineering students of Faculty of Technology – DDU, was organized on Sunday, Feb.07, 2016 at DDU. Nearly 100 participants (students and family members) were present in this meet. From past faculty members, Dr. A.V.Thomas was present while there was a message from Dr. K.C.Thacker (He could not come due to health problem). The meet started at 10.30am with prayer. There was a welcome speech by Prof. Panchal, Prof. Sheth and Prof. Khandelwal. Self – Introduction was given by each student (Name, year of pass out, current location, current job etc.).
The meet provided a good platform to the students to interact with their each other and with Professors as well. Students expressed their sincere thanks to the Professors whose guidance helped them a lot to achieve their goals. During the meet, there were some emotional moments also for students and faculty members. Students were very happy to visit the Alma mater after a long lapse of time. They expressed their sincere thanks for organizing this meet.
