Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Faculty of Technology, Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad had organized an Alumni Reunion on Sunday 28th February 2016. The reunion was aimed at connecting the alumni who graduated between 1995 to 2015. To begin the event, Prof. C.P. Patel, Vice President of DDU Alumni Association delivered a welcome speech. Prof.(Dr.) P.A. Joshi, Secretary of  DDU Alumni Association  enlightened all present about the objective, activities  of DDU Alumni Association and expectations from alumni.  He motivated the alumni to help current DDU students to the best of their abilities. The formal interaction session was arranged at seminar hall, Faculty of Technology. Around 45 alumni’s were present. High Tea was served at the MMH garden. 

Prof. Jignesh G. Bhatt, Assistant Professor at Instrumentation & Control Department gave a presentation showcasing the progress of IC Department in past few years. He also introduced all the faculty members of department & discussed about the research and cocurricular Activities. Post that, Mr. Henil M.Patel was facilitated with the distinguished alumni award. He worked as a lecturer in the IC department, DDU, from 2003 to 2007. He joined Steepcorp Inc. USA in 2007 and currently working as director there. Alumni present in the gathering were invited to share their views and memories at DDU. Some of them also gave their valuable suggestions for the betterment of department.

The session came to an end with vote of thanks delivered by  Prof.(Dr.)V. A. Shah, HoD – Instrumentation & Control Department. He expressed his gratitude to all dignitaries,alumni, organizing committee, faculty members of Instrumentation & Control Department and the student volunteers.

To mark a befitting end to the gathering, all the alumni visited the laboratories & class rooms of Instrumentation & Control Department at Narayan Bhavan.
