Interest Free Loan Scholarship
Dharmsinh Desai University Alumni Association feels great pleasure to announce JUT Interest Free Loan Scholarship (IFLS) to the needy bright students from financially weaker class from academic year 2011-2012. Main objective of FLS is to provide financial assistance to the bright students studying at Faculty of Technology, Dharmsinh Desai University. IFLS is launched with the aim to fulfill the partial requirement of needy students with bright carrier.
Eligibility :
1. Interest free Loan Scholarships are offered to B.E./B.Tech & Diploma Chemical Engineering students during the current year.
2. The student must have passed previous year examination with 55% or 5.5 CGPA.
3. Total Annual Income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs.2.5 lakh.
General Rules and Conditions :
1. The number of Interest Free Loan Scholarship is decided by the Sanctioning Authority from time to time. The period for these Scholarships and loan is for four year for the recipient studying in 1st year subject to fulfillment of conditions laid down by the sanctioning Authority.
2. Scholarships will be given in the form of loan repayable in installments after a moratorium.
3. The amount of the Interest Free Loan Scholarship will have to be paid back to JAN UTKARSH TRUST by equated half yearly installment in two year of duration.
4. Repayment of IFLS starts one year after completion of studies or after getting a job, whichever is earlier.
5. The recipient of the IFLS will have to execute a bond for repayment of same jointly with his/her parent/guardian.
6. The recipient must abide by all rules and regulations of the institute/JUT. Any misconduct on his/her part may result in cancellation of the Scholarship, in part or in whole, temporarily or permanently.
7. Applicant should have to submit application duly recommended by his/her Head of Department.
