Memorandum of agreement between Dharmsinh Desai University and Mr. Pradip Laxmikant Dalal
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) BETWEEN DHARMSINH DESAI UNIVERSITY (DDU) AND MR. PRADIP LAXMIKANT DALAL
PURPOSE:
This endowment fund establishes account of Dollar 1,00,000 or equivalent Rupees for the scholarship. Every year four students will be awarded Rs. 25,000 based on merit plus means basis. If students meet the requirements, they will continue receiving the scholarship for four years.
BACKGROUND:
Mr. Pradip Laxmikant Dalal was admitted in the first batch of Chemical Engineering degree program in Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology (DDIT) in the summer of 1968. Mr. Dalal would like to establish a scholarship program in memory of his parents, Mr. Laxmikant Madhusudan Dalal and Smt. Virmatiben Laxmikant Dalal. Mr. Dalal has made a commitment to donate 100,000/- US dollars (hundred thousand US dollars only) or its equivalent INR for the purpose of a scholarship fund.
